In December 2008 Globe-PM was invited to participate in a 47.3 Mio. EUR project for a new building of the Institute for Federal Real Estate in Berlin. In this project Globe-PM delivers services in the field of construction management (document management, design review, claim management and billing). Another focus is on Building Information Modelling (BIM). Globe-PM develops a computer-based virtual replica of the real construction site in 3D in order to simulate processes, analyze complex technical situations and assure a constant quality level of all executed work. In a first step the virtual site was used to analyze collisions between the 20 cranes on site. Furthermore it is planned to simulate logistics on the virtual site.

Globe-PM offers services in this highly specialized area since the year 2000 when BIM was used on the site of the new theatre for the city of Erfurt in Germany. There has been a significant rise in the demand for BIM services in the last years. Currently we are expanding our team of virtual construction specialists. The team for the new BND building exists of three virtual construction engineers.
